Summary
The Commercial Intelligence & Market Research Analyst will research UK consumer markets, analyse commercial and e-commerce performance, identify new product and brand opportunities and provide management with actionable intelligence to support strategic decision-making.
The successful candidate will combine market research, commercial analysis and data interpretation to help Titan determine which products and markets offer the greatest growth potential.
About Titan Group Global
Titan Group Global is developing and operating a portfolio of e-commerce brands that bring distinctive products from international markets to UK consumers.
Our first brand, Rimba Roots, focuses on products sourced from South East Asia, with further consumer brands currently in development. As the group expands, we are building a central commercial intelligence function to support decisions about product selection, market entry, pricing, customer acquisition and brand growth.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct detailed market research into UK consumer trends, product categories and emerging e-commerce opportunities.
- Research international sourcing opportunities and assess the commercial potential of products sourced from overseas markets.
- Analyse sales data across Titan's e-commerce brands, including revenue, conversion rates, average order value and repeat purchase behaviour.
- Analyse product-level gross margins, fulfilment costs, shipping costs and overall commercial contribution.
- Produce sales forecasts and support inventory and purchasing planning.
- Identify underperforming products and recommend commercial or pricing interventions.
- Prepare market-entry assessments and business cases for proposed new brands and product categories.
- Present findings and recommendations to Titan's directors and support strategic planning across the group's portfolio.
- Identify and evaluate products and brands with potential for introduction into the UK market.
- Analyse competitor products, pricing, positioning, customer reviews and promotional strategies.
- Monitor customer acquisition costs, marketing performance and return on advertising spend.
- Develop pricing, demand and profitability models to support product and inventory decisions.
- Analyse customer behaviour and develop customer segmentation and purchasing insights.
- Develop management dashboards and regular commercial intelligence reports.
- Monitor relevant economic, consumer and competitive developments affecting the group's markets.
Education
A degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant discipline such as business, economics, marketing, data analysis, statistics, finance, management or a related field would be desirable.
Technical skills
- Strong experience in market research, commercial intelligence, business analysis or a closely related analytical role.
- Experience analysing sales, customer, competitor or market-performance data.
- Excellent research and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple research and analytical projects.
- Experience within e-commerce, consumer products, international trade or digital marketing analytics would be advantageous.
- Demonstrable ability to interpret commercial and market data and translate findings into clear business recommendations.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Experience using spreadsheets, data-analysis tools and business intelligence or reporting platforms.
- Ability to prepare concise commercial reports and present findings to senior management.
- Good commercial awareness and an understanding of how data influences pricing, product selection and business growth.
